What we collect

Your name, email, phone number, country and password (stored only as a salted hash). For sellers: legal or business name, registration number, address and payout account details. For orders: the delivery address, payment references and order history. For security: the IP address of logins and actions, and login attempts.

For an item collected in person: a photograph of you, when the pickup is not at a public place or when the seller asks for one and you choose to send it. It is shown to the other party to that order so you can recognise each other, it is shown to nobody else, and it is deleted 30 days after the pickup. No identity document is ever asked for or kept.

Why

To run your account, process orders and payments, pay sellers, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. We do not sell your data and do not use advertising trackers. Your searches and purchases on Nouhata are also used to suggest products to you; you can clear your search history from your account page.

Who sees it

After Nouhata confirms a payment, the buyer sees the seller's shop name, phone and email, and the seller sees the buyer's name, phone, email and delivery address - only for that order. Nouhata staff see account and order data to operate the site.

Cookies

One cookie keeps you signed in. It holds a random token, nothing else.

How long we keep it

Order and payment records are kept as long as the law requires for financial records. You can ask us to close your account and remove the personal data we are not required to keep.

Your acceptance

When you accept these documents we record which version you accepted, the time, and the address the acceptance came from. That record is kept as proof of the agreement and is not changed afterwards.
